高木副大臣は7月14日、インド・ビハール州のニティーシュ・クマール（Nitish Kumar）首相と会談し、上記の2つの分野について議論を行い、お互いの利益のために投資したいと話している。
さらにこの会談で高木副大臣は、東京とヒンドゥー教の聖地でもあるブッタガヤとを結ぶ直行便開始についての政府の協力を求めた。
